Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar
Our Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer is certified to teach the live eight hour course required for those caregivers and healthcare providers wishing to pursue certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner or for those who want to enhance their dementia education.  Our live interactive course focuses on an interdisciplinary team approach to help assist you and your team in taking better care of your residents living with dementia. All disciplines providing care for individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer's are potentially eligible for this certification. Staff In-services
Our trained staff offers site specific in-service training to meet your facility’s specific needs. Our dementia in-service topics include but are not limited to the following: activities, rehab services, communication, medications, elopement, care plans, facility outings, dining, hydration, falls, environment, sexuality, stress, oral health and dealing with difficult residents. Environmental Assessment and Recommendations
 
Conducting a thorough environmental assessment can assist in identifying problematic areas and barriers for memory care residents and caregivers. From conducting a noise study, improving color contrast and signage to help wayfinding, and identifying hazards, let us help you improve your residents quality of life and decrease the burden of care on your caregivers.
